The “Field Setup” Command lets you customize the format and positioning of each field in your printouts. Each field can be formatted with its own font, style, size, etc. so you can highlight whatever information is most important to you.
"Field Setup" also has more detailed options, such as the order that fields are printed (see below).
SUGGESTION: To see what your "Field Setup" formatting will look like, you should open the "Display" window (View Menu) and leave it open. All your Field Setup settings will show up here.
“Field Setup” Dialog:
• Printable/Not printable: If you want a field to print, it must appear in the box that lists all printable fields (at the top). If it's not there, you can add to it by double clicking on the field you want in the scrollable list of fields to the right. (If you select "First Line" and "Second Line", you can't select "First Name", "Last Name", and "Business"--and vice versa.)
• Character Formatting (Font, Size, and Style): Click in the top box on the field or fields you want to format, then choose the font, size, and style you want for that field. A field must be checked as printable before you can change its character formatting.
• Field Order: Change the order that the fields appear in your layout by clicking the Field Options button, selecting a field and clicking on the up or down arrows above the field name list.
To further customize how your fields print in a layout, see Field Options.
